DALTON, Mass. – Kara Racicot and Milana Shuman each scored four goals Monday to lead the Westfield girls lacrosse team to a 14-13 win at Wahconah.

 

“What a great game,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “Back and forth in the second half. Unfortunately for us, they were ahead when the time ran out. The girls gave it their all and played hard for sure. We started off slow and talked after the first quarter and turned things around. I could not ask any more of them.”

 

Brooke Harrington and Mia Thomas each scored four goals for Wahconah, which got two goals and two assists apiece from Anna Doyle and Danielle Hagmaier.

 

Phalyn Renderer stopped three shots in Wahconah’s goal.

 

Wahconah (6-4) travels to face Mount Greylock on Friday.
