Comeback Lifts Lee to 2-0

LEE, Mass. – Taryn Bannon struck out five and the Lee softball team came back from a three-run deficit to earn a 12-6 win over Smith Vocational on Friday.
 
The visitors jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first and led, 4-2, midway through the fourth, but the Wildcats took control with a five-run fourth inning.
 
Kamryn Renata, Kylie Joyce and Karalynn Hopkins each had a single during the decisive rally.
 
Six different players accounted for Lee’s six hits in the win.
 
Lee (2-0) hosts Gateway on Monday.
