Sweet, Mounties Blank Lee

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Kami Sweet struck out 11 and scattered five hits on Tuesday to lead the Mount Greylock softball team to a 5-0 win over Lee.

 

Sweet helped her cause by going 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI at the plate.

 

Emma Newberry was 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs.

 

Karalynn Hopkins had two of the Wildcats’ hits. Taryn Bannon and Brianna Lynch split time in the circle.

 

Lee (7-4) hosts Drury on Thursday.

 

Mount Greylock (5-4) is scheduled to host Taconic on Wednesday.
