Tart Leads Hurricanes Past Blue Devils

ADAMS Mass. – Izabela Tart went 3-for-4 with a double Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 7-2 win over Drury.

 

Gracelyn Wright went 2-for-3 with a walk, and Ashley Lane doubled for the Hurricanes, who got 12 strikeouts from Rylynn Witek.

 

Marley Brothers went had a triple and a double for the Blue Devils. Ariana Rivard went 2-for-3 and scored both runs for Drury, which got a pair of hits, including a double, from Brooke Bishop.

 

Drury (7-9) hosts McCann Tech on Tuesday.

 

Hoosac Valley (8-4) goes to Hopkins Academy on Saturday.
