McCann Tech Softball Rallies Past Smith, Stays Unbeaten

HATFIELD, Mass. -- Hailey Miller tripled in a run in a four-run third inning Friday that sent the McCann Tech softball team on to a 6-4 win over Smith Academy.

 

Hannah Stack also tripled and scored, and Ayrian Quinones had a hit, a sacrifice fly and two RBIs. Mya Daigneault doubled in a seven-hit Hornet attack.

 

That four-run rally gave McCann a 6-2 lead, and Megan Goyette made it stand up, striking out eight and scattering five hits.

 

McCann Tech (4-0) goes to Hopkins Academy on Monday.
