Southwick Softball Tops Mount Everett

SOUTHWICK, Mass. -- Sarah Hough went 3-for-5 with a home run Monday to lead the Southwick softball team to a 19-7 win over Mount Everett.
 
Makayla Carpenter went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs, and Mariah Broderick doubled for the Eagles.
 
Tonilyn Smith and Megan Loring each had a pair of hits in an eight-hit Eagle attack.
 
Julia Devoti went the distance in the circle, allowing just eight earned runs.
 
Mount Everett (4-9) goes to Drury on Wednesday.
