Pittsfield High School catcher Hayley Tobin was voted the Most Valuable Player for 2017 by the Berkshire County Softball Coaches.

Tobin batted nearly .500 with 25 RBIs while backstopping a Pittsfield team that went 21-3, reaching the Western Massachusetts Division 1 Championship Game.

She is joined on the all-Berkshire County team by her sister, Pittsfield shortstop Maddie Tobin, her battery mate, Giuliana Pierce and teammates Erin Murphy and Brittney Perkett.

Pierce is one of four pitchers on the all-Berkshire squad.

She is joined by Wahconah’s Allie Borowsky, Mount Everett’s Chandler DeGrenier and Taconic’s Ashley Keegan.
