Pierce Powers Thunder to Road Win

ORANGE, Mass. – Julia Pierce went 4-for-5 with a triple and three runs batted in on Thursday to lead the Taconic softball team to a 19-2 win over Mahar.

 

Chey Goddard earned the win in the circle, going the distance in the five-inning contest and striking out 11 while allowing no earned runs.

 

Rylee Paronto, Brenna McNeice, Leena Schettini and Goddard each had a pair of hits. Paronto crossed the plate four times and drove in a pair of runs.

 

Taconic (5-0) goes back on the road on Friday to face Frontier.
