Mount Everett Softball Tops Hoosac Valley

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Chandler DeGrenier struck out 11 Thursday to lead the Mount Everett softball team to a 6-4 win over Hoosac Valley.
 
Devan Galli went 2-for-4 and scored a run at the plate for the Eagles, who took control with a four-run fourth inning to erase a 3-2 deficit.
 
Hannah Race went 1-for-2 with a run scored for the Eagles.
 
Alyssa Pause went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Hurricanes (1-5), who host St. Joseph on Friday.
 
Mount Everett (8-1) takes a five-game winning streak into Monday's home game against Wahconah.
