Sweet Leads Mounties in the Circle, at the Plate in Win over Hoosac Valley

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Kami Sweet struck out 12 in a complete-game win in the circle to lead the Mount Greylock softball team to a 4-1 win over Hoosac Valley on Monday.
 
Sweet scattered three hits and walked just one. She also helped her own cause by going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI at the plate.
 
Brodi Rosier also went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and A.J. Pelkey drove in a pair of runs.
 
Madi Puppolo went 2-for-3 with a double to lead Hoosac Valley’s offense. She also struck out 11 and walked none in a complete-game effort in the circle.
 
Hoosac Valley hosts Lee on Tuesday.
 
Mount Greylock (9-3) finishes the regular season against Taconic on Tuesday.
