Keay Leads Wahconah to Shutout Win on Road

BUCKLAND, Mass. – Harper Keay hit a pair of triples and earned the win in the circle Wednesday as the Wahconah softball team beat Mohawk Trail, 14-0.
 
Keay struck out four and allowed three hits in four innings of work before giving the ball to Sammie Kaley, who struck out six in three innings in the circle.
 
On offense, Keay went 2-for-4 with the two extra-base hits.
 
Marlee Arnhold went 3-for-5 with a double and a triple, and four other Wahconah players had two hits apiece: Kaley, Alliah DiPietro, Edrie Collins and Mariah Barnes.
 
Wahconah (6-8) hosts Lee on Friday.
