Wohrle Homer Helps Hoosac Edge Mount Greylock

ADAMS, Mass. -- Kelsey Wohrle hit a leadoff homer to start a four-run fourth inning that led the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 6-3 win over Mount Greylock on Wednesday.
 
Wohrle went 2-for-3 at the plate, and Katie Braman drove in a pair of runs for the Hurricanes.
 
Rylynn Witek and Madi Puppolo combined on the win in the circle.
 
The Mounties scored three in the top of the sixth as Emma Newberry doubled and Brodi Rosier and Lily Lesieur each had a hit.
 
The Mounties (6-5) host Monument Mountain on Thursday.
 
Hoosac Valley (9-2) goes to Taconic on Thursday.
