Wahconah Softball Tops Mount Greylock for Fourth Straight Win

DALTON, Mass. -- Wahconah’s Avery Vale-Cruz homered twice and struck out 11 in five innings of work to earn a complete-game, 10-0 win over Mount Greylock on Monday.
 
Morgan Marauszwski, Kaylee O’Bryan, Hannah Friedman and Kaitlyn Olds each doubled for Wahconah, which won its fourth straight to improve to 4-1 this season.
 
Wahconah is outscoring opponents 47-10 this season. Vale-Cruz is hitting .643 with nine RBIs.
 
Mount Greylock (4-1) got a triple from Brodi Rosier and a double from Jordyn Codding.
 
The Mounties are at Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
 
Wahconah goes to Monument Mountain on Tuesday.
