Mount Greylock Softball Wins Big on Senior Day

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Emma Newberry went 2-for-3 with a pair of homer runs and five runs batted in on Friday to lead the Mount Greylock softball team to an 18-5, five-inning win over Monument Mountain.
 
Brodi Rosier went 2-for-3 and scored four runs, and A.J. Pelkey tripled in a 14-hit Mount Greylock attack.
 
Jordyn Codding, the Mounties’ lone senior, doubled and scored three times on Senior Day in Williamstown.
 
Kamryn Sweet struck out seven in 4-⅔ innings of scoreless work to earn the win in the circle.
 
Mount Greylock won its third straight to improve to 7-1 going into Monday’s game at Pittsfield.
 
Monument Mountain goes to Drury on Tuesday.
