Pittsfield Softball Tops Wahconah

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Brittney Perkett went 3-for-4, and Haley Tobin had two hits, including a triple, to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 7-1 win over Wahconah on Thursday afternoon.
 
Natasha Shade went 2-for-3 and scored a pair of runs, and pitcher Giulianna Pierce helped her own cause with a double.
 
In the circle, Pierce struck out four and allowed just two hits to earn the complete-game win.
 
Allie Borowsky allowed five earned runs for Wahconah. She also had one of Wahconah’s two hits. Abby Wells had the other and scored Wahconah’s run.
 
Wahconah (7-5) hosts Lenox on Saturday.
 
Pittsfield (7-2) goes to the Doyle Softball Complex on Friday evening to face Taconic.
