White Leads Pittsfield Softball Past Lenox

LENOX, Mass. -- Libby White went 4-for-5 with two runs batted in to lead the Pittsfield High softball team to a 14-0 win over Lenox on Friday.
 
The Generals (9-0) pounded out 19 hits -- all singles -- and scored in each of the first five innings.
 
Lauren Carnevale went 3-for-5 with an RBI, and Julia Murphy and Giuliana Pierce combined to strike out nine in the win.
 
Lenox (2-6) got just one hit.
 
The Millionaires will look to get back on the winning side of the ledger on Monday at St. Joseph, a team they beat, 13-1, on Thursday.
 
Pittsfield hosts Watertown, Conn., in an independent game on Tuesday.
