Carpenter Leads Mount Everett Softball Past Lenox

LENOX, Mass. -- Gwendolyn Carpenter went 2-for-3 with a triple and scored three times for Mount Everett in a 14-0, five-inning win over Lenox on Monday.
 
Marion Devoti and Madison Ullrich each went 3-for-4, and Jaclyn Derwitch drove in three runs for the Eagles.
 
Faith Angell struck out six and allowed one hit to earn the win in the circle.
 
Lexi Fletcher had that hit for Lenox (1-7), which hosts Monument Mountain on Tuesday.
 
Mount Everett (5-3) goes to Lee on Thursday.
