ATHOL, Mass. -- The Atol softball team scored early and often to earn a 10-7 win over Taconic on Saturday morning.

 

The hosts opened up with three runs in the first inning and tacked on four in the second and three in the third.

 

Jenyka Ostellino led Taconic’s offense with a pair of triples. Taylar Ostrander drove in a pair of runs.

 

Mary Lee took the loss in the circle, striking out six while allowing four walks.

 

Taconic (1-5) goes to Pittsfield on Tuesday.
