ADAMS, Mass, -- Robin Witek went 2-for-4 with a double and five RBIs Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 15-8 win over Taconic.

 

Riley Bishop had three hits and four RBIs for the Hurricanes (11-2).

 

Madi Puppolo gave up four earned runs to earn the win in the circle.

 

Jenyka Ostellino went 2-for-3 and Stephanie Schwarz doubled for Taconic (3-10), which plays a double-header at Drury on Saturday.

 

Hoosac Valley hosts Lenox on Saturday.
