NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The Hopkins Academy softball team Friday defeated McCann Tech, 17-0, in the Hornets' season opener.

 

Sarah Fortini, Alyse Koloc and Krysten Gazaille-Adams each had a hit for McCann Tech.

 

The Hornets travel to face Pope Francis on Tuesday.
