PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Rylee Paronto scattered seven hits for the Taconic softball team in an 11-1 win over Mount Greylock on Monday.

 

Paronto struck out four and walked just two. She also helped her cause by going 2-for-4 with an RBI and scoring three times.

 

Maddie Donovan went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, and Amelia Leasure doubled in a seven-hit Taconic attack.

 

Taconic (7-6) took advantage of 11 Mount Greylock errors to score eight unearned runs off Kamryn Sweet.

 

The Mounties (9-4) got a triple from Malia Koffi and an RBI double from Emma Newberry.

 

Both teams Wednesday learn their seeds in the upcoming Western Massachusetts tournament.
