PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Leena Schettini went 2-for-4 with a home run and four runs batted in on Monday to lead the Taconic softball team to a 20-0, five-inning win over Mahar.

 

Laynie Burke went 2-for-2 and scored a pair of runs in Taconic’s 10-hit attack.

 

Rylee Paronto struck out 10 while allowing just two hits and two walks in the circle for the Thunder.

 

Taconic (1-0) goes to Turners Falls on Tuesday.
