PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jordynn Bazinet went 4-for-4 with a triple and a double on Monday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 6-4 win over Taconic.

 

Bazinet also drove in four runs.

 

Sophie Santos walked thre times and scored twice, and Mia Alfonso singled and drove in a run in Pittsfield's three-run seventh inning as they took a 6-3 lead.

 

Bazinet and Julian Johansen split time in the circle for the Generals to get the win.

 

Rylee Paronto went the distance in the circle for the Thunder.

 

Paronto, Leena Schettini and Chloe Wendling each had a pair of hits for Taconic.

 

The Thunder (4-7) hosts Frontier on Tuesday.

 

Pittsfield (10-4) hosts Westfield on Tuesday.
