LENOX, Mass. – Grace Julieano went 4-for-4 with a pair of triples and a pair of RBIs Saturday to lead the Lenox softball team to a 14-0, five-inning win over Palmer in the first round of the Division 5 State Tournament.

 

Evelyn Julieano earned a five-inning no-hitter in the circle, going the distance and striking out eight with no walks.

 

Lexi Witherell was 3-for-4 with a double and three runs batted in.

 

Layla Soules tripled and drove in a pair, and Amaya Alger was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs in a 12-hit Lenox attack.

 

Ninth-seeded Lenox (13-7) will travel to play No. 8 Bristol County Agriculture in the Sweet 16 on a date to be announced.
