LEE, Mass. -- The Wahconah softball team defeated Lee Monday afternoon, 4-3.
Allie Borowsky pitched seven innings for Wahconah and threw eight strikeouts while allowing six hits.
"Well played by the girls from both sides today," Lee coach Lauren Finnegan said. "Very evenly played and could've gone either way on any given day."
Bridget Lussier went 2-for-4 with a double, and Jessica Warren drove in two runs for Wahconah.
Kendra Williams pitched all seven for Lee, she allowed three hits and struck out four. Shannon Finnegan and Sam Farina each had an RBI for the Wildcats.
Wahconah (9-2) goes to Monument Mountain on Tuesday, while Lee (5-4) hosts Drury.
