LEE, Mass. -- Morgan DeGrenier went 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Chandler DeGrenier struck out six in a complete-game effort in the circle to lead the Mount Everett softball team to a 6-4 win over Lee on Monday.
Kersten Cutlip went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Cutlip and Chandler DeGrenier each drove in a run for the Eagles (9-2), who rebounded after losing two straight.
Nikki Laudon went 2-for-4, and Amy Goss and Shannon Finnegan each drove in a run for the Wildcats (7-6). Kendra Williams struck out five and allowed just three earned runs in taking the loss.
Lee will look to get back in the win column on Tuesday at Hoosac Valley.
Mount Everett travels to Pittsfield on Tuesday to face St. Joseph.
