LEE, Mass. -- Kali Puppolo struck out eight in the circle and hit a double to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 10-1 win over Lee on Wednesday.

Kelsey Wohrle homered and scored twice for the Hurricanes.

Lee’s Kendra Williams struck out 11 and gave up just three runs, but the Wildcats’ five errors helped Hoosac put the game out of reach.

Lee (3-4) hosts Mount Everett on Thursday.

Hoosac (1-3) travels to Monument Mountain on Thursday.
