NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Ethan Sheldon scored 38 points to lead the McCann Tech boys basketball team to an 86-72 win over Pathfinder on Friday in the Hornets’ season opener.

 

McCann (1-0) went up by 18 points only to see the visitors rally back to take a six-point lead midway through the third quarter.

 

But McCann finished strong to make a winner of first-year head coach Chris Bullett in his debut.

 

McCann Tech hosts Lenox on Monday.
