Paris Scores 42, Mount Greylock Boys Stay Alive

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Mount Greylock freshman Derek Paris scored 42 points Thursday to lead the Mounties to an 80-67 win over Lee.
 
Paris hit four 3-pointers and went 14-for-15 at the foul line.
 
He went 6-for-6 at the stripe and scored 13 points in the second quarter, when Mount Greylock scored 28 points to take a 48-21 lead into the locker room.
 
Toby Foehl hit three triples and scored 16 points in the win.
 
Lee was led by Ben Harding’s 31. Cole Redstone and Joshua Jimenez scored 12 and 11, respectively.
 
The Wildcats (9-9) are at Wahconah on Saturday. 
 
Mount Greylock is 9-10 and will qualify for the Western Mass tournament on Tuesday if it wins its sixth straight game in a visit to Lenox. A week ago, the Mounties beat the Millionaires, 64-51, in the Mountie Dome.
