Drury Boys Get Balanced Scoring in Senior Night Win
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Scott McGuire Jr. scored 20 points, and five Blue Devils finished in double figure as the Drury boys basketball team beat Pittsfield, 85-66, on Senior Night on Wednesday.
McGuire also grabbed nine rebounds and passed out seven assists on a night when he scored his 1,669th career point, passing 2013 St. Joseph graduate Taverick "Tank" Roberson for second place on the county's all-time list of boys basketball scorers.
Tim Brazeau had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Hunter Sarkis scored 16 with eight boards and Louis Guilotte and Keegan Vidal each scored 13 in the win.
Drury (13-7) learns Saturday where and against whom it will open play in the Western Massachusetts Division 4 tournament.
