Devils Rebound With Road Win Over Pioneer

NORTHFIELD -- The Drury boys' basketball team put up its biggest point total of the season and held Pioneer to just five points in the third quarter on its way to a 60-44 win on the road on Thursday night. 

Up by 10 points at the half, Jack Racette's team held the Panthers to just five baskets the rest of the way. Senior forward Tyler Benoit scored a game-high 20 points, while junior Robert Jutras chipped with 15 points of his own to lead the Blue Devils (4-2). An improved effort on the boards and a 17-point fourth quarter sealed the victory for Drury, which also got nine points from sophomore Nolan Bird. 

The Blue Devils have a week off now until their next game, a home tilt against Monument on at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
