Brown, Hanavan Lead Monument Boys Past Drury

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Dion Brown and Connor Hanavan Friday led the Monument Mountain boys basketball team to a 75-54 win over Drury.
 
Brown scored 25 points, and Hanavan added 21 for the Spartans, who overcame an early 21-11 deficit after one quarter and held Drury to just 22 points in the second half.
 
Nicholas Robbins scored 12, and Zach Goffin added eight in the win.
 
Hunter Sarkis and Louis Guilotte scored 12 apiece to lead Drury, which got 10 points from Keegan Vidal. Leading scorer Scott McGuire Jr. was unavailable for the Blue Devils (2-1), who are off until Dec. 27, when they host Lenox.
 
Monument Mountain (2-1) goes to Mount Everett on Monday.
