McCann Tech Edges Mount Everett in OT

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Owen Gagne scored four of his 13 points in overtime Saturday to lead the 
McCann Tech boys basketball team to a 44-43 win at Mount Everett.
 
Jacob Howland scored 16 for the Hornets, who got seven from Walter Mazza.
 
Michael Ullrich scored 14, and Matt Lowe had 13 to lead the Eagles, who rallied to force overtime with a 20-6 fourth quarter.
 
Ullrich went 4-for-4 at the foul line and scored eight points in that fourth quarter, when Mount Everett also got seven points from Lowe.
 
Anthony Rahilly added seven points for Mount Everett in the loss.
 
The Hornets (6-2) go to Smith Vocational on Monday.
 
Mount Everett (6-5) is at Gateway on Monday.
