Percy Scores 20 as Taconic Boys Advance Past Belchertown

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Isaac Percy scored 20 points Friday to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 90-42 win over Belchertown in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Division 2 tournament.
 
Mohammed Sanogo scored 17 points for Taconic, which jumped out to a 28-4 lead after the first quarter and led by 32 at half-time.
 
Frank Boua and Eric Montgomery each scored 12, and Sean Harrigan added 11 as Taconic won its ninth straight.
 
Third-seeded Taconic (17-4) goes to Western New England University on Wednesday night to face No. 2 Longmeadow (14-7), a 73-34 winner over Ludlow on Friday night.
