Pope Francis Boys Top Short-Handed Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Cam Vedovelli scored 19 points, and the Pope Francis boys basketball team beat short-handed Taconic, 68-62, on Wednesday night.
 
Taconic was missing an injured Sean Harrigan, who averages 18 points per game.
Four players did finish in double figures for the hosts.
 
Tayvon Sandifer and Maimoudou Bamba each scored 14. Christian Maturevich and Sam Sherman scored 12 and 11, respectively.
 
Taconic (11-2) goes to Green Tech on Thursday.
