CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Isaac Percy scored 23, and Mohammed Sanogo scored 20 Monday to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 76-51 win over Hoosac Valley that clinched the Berkshire County North Division title.

Ezekiel Percy scored 11, and Frank Boua added seven for Taconic, which finishes the regular season at 16-4 and 7-1 in the league.

Izaha Stubbs scored a game-high 30 points for Hoosac Valley.

“I’m happy with the way the team went out and competed and kept a positive attitude despite the scoreline,” Hurricanes interim coach Ben Raimer said. “We ran through our offensive sets, continued working on our help defense, and improved from a week ago when we played them at Taconic.

“Looking forward to seeing Taconic go on a deep tourney run and wish nothing but the best to Coach Heaphy and his team.”

Both Taconic and Hoosac Valley learn Saturday when and against whom they will begin play in their respective Western Massachusetts tournaments.
