Hoosac Valley Boys Come Back to Beat Mount Anthony

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Frank Field scored 12 straight points on four 3-pointers to erase an 11-point third-quarter deficit and propel the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a 67-56 win over Mount Anthony on Wednesday night.
 
Field finished with 24 points to lead the Hurricanes, who got 22 from Carson Meczywor.
 
Meczywor scored eight points in the fourth quarter to help Hoosac Valley put the game away.
 
Caleb Harrington scored seven of his 15 in the fourth.
 
Braeden Billert scored 19 to lead the Patriots.
 
Hoosac Valley (2-2) is done until 2022 when it hosts Easthampton on Jan. 3.
