Hoosac Valley Boys Use Balanced Scoring to Secure Tourney Berth

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. – Four Hurricanes finished in double figures Wednesday as the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team earned its fourth straight victory and qualified for the state tournament.

 

Carson Meczywor led the way with 21 points in a 78-47 win over Easthampton.

 

Frank Field scored 19, and Joey McGovern and Caleb Harrington added 17 and 11, respectively.

 

Carter Daughdrill scored 16 to lead Easthampton.

 

Hoosac Valley (10-4) goes to South Hadley on Friday.
