Hurricanes Roll into Postseason with Fourth Straight Win

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Frank Field scored 24 points Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a 74-54 win over Baystate in the Hurricanes’ regular season finale.

 

Joey McGovern scored 18 and Kaden Tatro added 11 as Hoosac Valley won its fourth straight.

 

Field hit three of Hoosac Valley’s four first-quarter 3-pointers as the hosts jumped out to a 20-9 lead.

 

He finished the game with five triples, and the Hurricanes made nine from behind the arc.

 

Hoosac Valley (12-6) is getting ready for next week’s Western Massachusetts regional tournament.
