PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Devika Sharma scored 22 points Friday to lead the Mount Greylock Unified Basketball team to a 46-39 win over Pittsfield in the first home game in the history of the Generals’ program.

Rubio Josue scored 12 points, and Lincoln Simpson and Craig Maddie added six and four, respectively, for the Mounties, who took a 15-point lead in the first quarter.

Pittsfield rallied to cut that deficit to single digits in the second quarter, but Simpson went coast-to-coast for a buzzer beater to end the first half.

It was tied after three quarters, and Eric Vega’s step-back 3-pointer for PIttsfield was a highlight in the fourth.

But the Mounties were able to pull away in the end.

Jonathan Seddon and Jake Bassi each had eight points in a balanced Pittsfield attack. Benedicta Bonsu scored six, and Trey MacHaffie added five.
