WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Mount Greylock's boys basketball team did a lot of thing right on Monday — but for an eight-minute stretch, things went very wrong in a 58-39 loss to Lee.

"It was a pretty good game, actually," Greylock coach Bob Thistle said. "But we only scored one point in the second quarter.

"We can't put four good quarters together. That's been the problem with our year."

The Mounties (5-10) held Lee's 1,000-point scorer Heamon Williams to just nine points, but the Wildcats (6-7) had enough help from elsewhere to put the game away.

Jack Thistle scored eight to lead Mount Greylock. Cole Jackson and Eric Hirsch scored seven points apiece.

Mount Greylock hosts Taconic on Thursday night.
