Crusaders Thwart Wildcats on Road

LEE, Mass. — A close first half on the road against Lee quickly became lopsided after halftime, as Saint Joseph’s flew by the Wildcats 68-48.

Nursing a one-point halftime lead, the Crusdaers (8-2, 2-0 South Division) outscored Lee 25-10 in the third quarter to build a commanding deficit and earn its fifth straight win.

Michael McMahon finished with his best game of the season, registering a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead four St. Joe’s players in double figures.

Tank Roberson
finished with 17 points and six assists, while Jon Bianchi and Lavante Wiggins chipped in 12 and 11 respectively.

The Crusaders capitalized on a number of Wildcat fouls, earning a 24-to-6 advantage in free throws made.
