BELCHERTOWN, Mass. – Manny Brown went 10-for-14 from behind the 3-point arc en route to setting a school scoring record and leading the Monument Mountain boys basketball team to an 89-57 win over Belchertown on Monday.

Brown’s 10 triples also set a school record in the 50-point effort.

“The nice part of it was all his points came from the flow of the offense,” Spartans coach Randy Koldys said. “He was on fire. What was also special was his brother Dion was at the game to watch.”

Monument Mountain, which jumped on top, 46-27, at half-time, got 19 points from Griffin McElroy.

Isaiah Keefner had eight points, 10 assists and six steals. Dom Calautti just missed a double-double with 16 rebounds and eight blocks.

Monument Mountain (2-0) goes to Easthampton on Thursday.
