PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Saint Joseph’s ran out to a big lead early on and never looked back in a 95-35 win over Mount Everett at the Pittsfield Boys & Girls Club.

The Crusaders (4-1) jumped out to a 23-point lead after one quarter, en route to a 51-15 halftime advantage. The Eagles (1-5) were unable to slow down a St. Joe’s offense which scored five players in double figures, including a game-high 14 points from Tank Roberson to go with eight assists. Michael McMahon (12 points, 10 rebounds) also finished with a double-double.

Paul Brindle has expressed that his team needs to be deep if his team is to compete for a Western Massachusetts Division III title. Particularly, his bench players need to get experience in game situations. Against Mount Everett, all 14 active players received minutes and made contributions.
