BELCHERTOWN, Mass. – The Belchertown boys basketball team Wednesday erased a seven-point Pittsfield half-time lead en route to a 72-68 win.

The Generals (5-15) built a 41-34 margin at the break thanks to their inside-outside game of Carter Mungin (16 points) and Nick Brindle (18 points, all on 3-pointers).

In the second half, the Orioles switched to a box-and-one to flip the score, and Belchertown held on at the end by hitting its foul shots.

Tobias Gaulden-Wheeler scored 11 of his team-high 19 points in the second half.
