Came out slow and Commerce jumped on us right away 12-2, ended up down 25-13 after one period.  The lead swelled to 18 during the second quarter but then we started playing better.  Corey Puccio hit two threes to help cut the lead to 4 points but Joshua Brunson made a layup to end the first half putting Commerce up by 7 at the half 40-33.  We started the second have with a nice spurt as Puccio again lead the charge with 7 points giving us a 48-45 lead with about 3 minutes to go in the third quarter.  We came from 18 down and jumped out front by 3 points!  From there Commerce seemed to have an answer every trip up the floor.  Their big 6'6" Center Brunson was having his way inside.  He ended up with 26 points on the night but his running mate guard Kori Wilson scored a game high 27, primarily on run outs.  We did NOT get back on defense tonight and Commerce took advantage by scoring 35 floor baskets in the game 27 of them were layups!  The good news we came back from an early 18 point deficeit and ended up having 4 players in double figures.  The bad news is evident, 83 points, 27 layups and 27 turnovers.  we travel to Putnam on Friday night a premier WMASS Division 1 opponent.
