SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Bruce Davis scored eight of his team-high 18 points in a pivotal third quarter as the McCann Tech boys basketball team Monday earned a 59-51 win at Pioneer Valley Christian Academy.

 

"Burce Davis was awesome," McCann Tech coach Chris Bullett said. "Lucas Jamros and Jeremy Beany dominated the paint in the second half. And Keeghan Vidal had 11 assists."

 

The Hornets were down, 32-26, at half-time but outscored their hosts, 14-6, in the third quarter to grab a two-point lead.

 

Beany scored 11 points, and Vidal and Jamros each finished with seven.

 

McCann Tech (5-4) hosts John J. Duggan Academy on Thursday.
