WASHINGTON, Conn. -- Owen Hibbard and Jayden Cornwell each scored 19 points Friday to lead the Shepaug boys basketball team to a 72-32 win over Mount Everett.

 

Shepaug stormed out to a 29-3 lead after one quarter and never looked back.

 

Michael Devoti scored nine points for the Eagles, who got five apiece from Ben Monteleone and Justin Foster.

 

Mount Everett (1-3) hosts Monument Mountain on Monday.
