CHESHIRE, Mass. – Frank Field scored 21 points Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a 52-38 win over Palmer.

 

Carson Meczywor added 10, and Joey McGovern scored nine for the Hurricanes, who pulled away with a 20-3 fourth quarter, when Field scored 12 of his 21.

 

Anthony Ukrainets scored 11 to lead Palmer.

 

Hoosac Valley (5-1) hosts South Hadley on Monday.
