DALTON, Mass. -- Jerry McDonough hit two foul shots with 12 seconds left to give the Pittsfield boys basketball team a 54-52 overtime victory over Wahconah on Tuesday night.
Scott Steinman scored a team-high 15 points, including a 3-pointer in overtime, for the Generals (14-3).
Pittsfield was behind by eight at half-time, but used a 16-4 third quarter to get on top. McDonough scored seven of his 14 in the third quarter.
Wahconah (10-7) came back to tie it in the fourth thanks largely to Collin Parrott, who scored 10 of his game-high 22 in the last eight minutes of regulation.
Parrott added a 3-pointer in overtime, but Pittsfield was able to escape with the win and the season sweep.
Wahconah travels to Monument Mountain on Friday. Pittsfield travels to face Taconic that night.
